GOALS

• Stimulate and support Research, Extension and Teaching activities concerning the Agrarian Sciences by Colleges and Universities, as Public and Private Institutions, Scientific Research Centers and other Institutions;

• Stimulate and support Sustainable Develop -ment and Environment Programs;

• To provide consultant scientific, technical and administratives services and to represent others institutions, as being remunerated or not, to any person or institution;

• To offer scholarships for Research and Development and to pos graduate programs in Brazil or overseas;

• To improve the exchange with similar institutions and others about its work in Brazil or overseas;

• To operate broadcasting stations with information services seeking the improvement of the rural communities in the Amazon Region and Nation;

• To subsidize the acquiring, editing and marketing of books, periodicals and bulletins concerning the agrarian sciences;

• To develop and execute scientific technical projects remunerated or not;

• To undertake technical consultants services through hiring of specialists.
