This is a revolutionary book because it fully utilities the technology of the internet to update itself with its own errata and updates page. The book puts out the facts - explains many cases of `knowledge beliefs' that have been overturned and then, wonderfully, between the hardback and paper back issues it puts right its own wrong `facts' in light of feedback its author received. Hence the book is self correcting by fully taking into account its main theme. The author is to be highly commended for his ability to know when he is wrong and to then change his mind and let us know about it. Of how many other authors can we say the same?
This is a great little book that is jam-packed with insights and bang-up-to-date thinking on the subject of knowledge and veracity. I highly recommend it as an essential tool for your skeptical tool-kit. The author of this book, Sam Arbesman, is one to watch. I look forward to reading his future work.
