Edição linda. O livro que adquiri é em capa dura e paperback a diferença de preço foi mínima se super compensou.

O produto chegou com antecedência, veio bem embalado e o produto não veio danificado (amassados, manchados, etc).

Recomendo principalmente para quem busca iniciar a leitura do idioma inglês.
A leitura é leve, o espaçamento entre linhas e o tamanho da fonte são maravilhosos e facilitam e tornam a leitura ainda mais prazerosa, possui folhas de qualidade e a capa dura é bem resistente.

Muito feliz com essa edição, pretendo adquirir um a cada mês, conforme vou concluindo a leitura de cada livro.

Mesmo comprando no dia 4 de julho e recebendo só dia 30 (MEU DEUS), o livro chegou em perfeito estado, sem amassados, sem dobras. O livro é super bonito e vem com uma jacket sensacional (aquela capinha que envolve o livro e que dá pra tirar). A capa é mais bonita ainda; a lombada é de um tecido show e o restante da capa é texturizado em losangos. Muito top esse livro, pena que levou uma eternidade pra chegar, primeira vez que a entrega foi uma porcaria pela Amazon. Mas enfim, o livro está aqui em perfeito estado.

Eu gosto muito dessas história, tem um valor sentimental imensurável para mim. Por isso decidi comprar na Língua original e montar a coleção. Me decepcionei com essa edição da scholastic em paperback, Não vale o preço. O que me frusta é que a Amazon não sinalizou em nenhum lugar que seria esse material. O livro é extremamente frágil, capa e folhas finíssimas de um material que parece reciclável da pior qualidade. Eu gostaria que tivesse essa descrição quando comprei, eu queria tanto o livro com essa arte na capa e por isso acabei comprando os outros da série para ter a coleção. Pena que não dá para cancelar os outros, se está lendo isso, deixo o aviso: não compre essa edição. Ela é cara e o material do livro não vale a pena.

O livro chegou em apenas 4 dias depois da compra, chegou em perfeito estado muito antes do que eu imaginava, isso foi ótimo! Realmente, como eu havia lido nos comentários o material não é dos melhores. Eu já tenho a versão em português com a qualidade melhor, para quem também tem a intenção de ler a versão em inglês para aperfeiçoar a língua e não é o interesse principal a qualidade da edição é a melhor opção. Para a minha intenção foi a melhor opção, eu tenho problemas de visão e o tamanho da letra e fonte foi bem confortável para leitura. Tem algumas ilustrações por capítulo que eu achei bem coerentes e bonitas, a única coisa mesmo é a qualidade do papel que para os desastrados pode vir a rasgar com um manuseio descuidado.

Produto chegou embalado, novo, em perfeitas condições no meu endereço, dentro do prazo estipulado. Comprei a versão na língua inglesa norte-americana de capa dura com sobrecapa (jacket) ilustrada. A capa de dentro do livro não tem ilustração, tal qual a antiga versão britânica infantil. Essa edição, também, apresenta, no início de cada capítulo, uma ilustração em preto e branco na margem superior da página. Folhas levemente amareladas com boa gramatura. Na minha opinião é uma versão de luxo, tendo em vista a qualidade de todo o material. Vale, sem dúvida, cada centavo.

Comprei o ebook na edição em inglês para aprimorar o idioma, para minha surpresa o livro contém vários erros grosseiros de escrita, depois vendo nas avaliações que mais pessoas reclamarem e até agora não houve uma atualização. Então comprei o mesmo ebook mas a versão ilustrada, e adivinhem, contém os mesmos erros de escrita no inglês, lamentável, estou indignado.
Do que me adianta ter um Kindle se a Amazon oferece esse tipo de atendimento.
Dois livros em inglês, o mesmo título com os mesmos erros de escrita.

A leitura, como sempre deliciosa e a edição em inglês é uma boa dica para quem quer aprimorar ou desenferrujar a leitura no inglês.

O que não me agradou nem um pouco foi a qualidade do papel nessa edição. Eu quando ia escrever algo, fazer alguma anotação no livro tinha a sensação que a folha não ia resistir ao atrito e iria rasgar... Deixou muito a desejar esse papel utilizado!

nunca seguia uma ordem de tantas compras ruins numa semana. o livro, o fireTv e o Tablet. Mas vamos ao livro. O material é excelente, é Harry Potter né gente. A edição é muito leve, e o texto original são ótimos, a edição ainda conserva as imagens originais. Porém pensei que seria a edição com Jacket ,e não foi. a edição e toda amassada num livreco vergonhoso. li em 1 hora , o livro inteiro. Mas no geral pra quem quer se aventurar nas leituras em inglês, é um ótimo começo.

I am pushing 30's but I still love Harry potter like I did when I was a teenager and today I gave it as a gift to a teenager who is new to the book world. The books arrived in a perfect condition, timely delivery, well packed and along with a book mark. None of pages are missing and the paper quality is too good no speck of yellow is seen even the print is good. The conversation carried out between Ron Hermione and Harry through letters are printed in different fonts and the rest in different which gives the whole book an interesting look. The new readers can feel the conversation actually happening in their mind like a play on radio.

This was a repurchase for me as my original Harry Potter book is battered from years of reading. I've reread this book since and of course, I loved it. The beginning can be a little slow for younger readers as a lot of it is not in the movies, but the remaining 85% is and can be completely imagined throughout. I like the fact most of the original dialogue was translated into movies which is something I've noticed since rereading as an adult. Lovely start to the fabulous series and I am buying the full set to have a newer looking set on my shelf!
The artwork on the cover is so much better than the original book which is red. There are illustrations around the chapter headings too which adds a special something. The paper in this book is a lot firmer and of better quality. It's bigger in length than my original one by about 100 pages but that's probably just a printing difference. There isn't anything additional. I think there was a map in the front of mine but I 'm unsure.

Fab read of course.

My Granddaughter has been asking me for my copy of Harry Potter Book 1, but I know my daughter only too well and I know if my copy goes to their house, in all likelihood it won't be back into mine, hence the purchase! I'm sure H.P. doesn't need a review by me, just to say that children need magic in their lives, as do we all really, and H.P. surely satisfies that need. I know too that J.K. Rowling originally intended that the books would be read by the same age children as Harry is in the book - Book 1 aged 10-11 and so on. (does a Grandma of %# years count?)
My Granddaughter is 8yrs old but her 12 year old cousin has read all bar books 6 &7 and she thinks she can too. I'm sure if she finds them hard to understand then she will stop reading them. I'm happy she's reading, she's happy to read H.P. & the Philosophers Stone. All is well!

So, as a blind person, I've got both narrations of the Harry Potter books so why spend money on the Kindle copies? Well, I think the answer to that is that I just love returning to join Harry and his friends in the wizarding world and with having access to Kindle through Alexa I felt I might as well go right ahead and purchase them on Kindle.

I just love this book right from the start and even though it isn't as exciting and edge of your seat as the other books are, yet there is that excitement you feel along with Harry in Chapter 4 when Hagrid turns up in the shack during the storm to give him the good news and I don't think any Harry Potter fan could ever fail to feel the excitement along with Harry as he and Hagrid go to Diagon Alley and he buys his books and other material he'll need for his time at Hogwarts. I love it when his vault at Gringots is opened and he sees all the money his parents have left him. I love the background we get to the Dursleys in the first chapter and the description of the day which eventually leads to his arrival at Privet Drive. As we read this book, we need to be aware how little Harry knows and we get an idea of how he's feeling as he awaits his sorting on his arrival at the school. As the Dursleys fight a losing battle when the letters start coming (and increasing with each delivery, ending with about a hundred at the hotel, you just know that, even though they're eventually in a place where Uncle Vernon's certain they won't be disturbed, that by hook or by crook Dumbledore will eventually get him to Hogwarts. As he tells Mrs Cole in Book 6, they'll be taking Tom Riddle away whatever. So Harry begins this roller coaster adventure throughout the seven books and he will not only need his friends but all the magical training he can get, especially in Defence against the dark arts which will be important as he must face the wizard who has not only attempted to kill him but has eluded capture by the Ministry of Magic.
