In the Elysian city of Alamptria, after another two of the king’s agents are delivered in caskets, dead, encased in dirt, and clutching pocket watches, the king dispatches two knights to investigate: Caprius Seaton, the king’s son and strongest warrior, and newly-minted agent Calista, whose prowess as a fighter is unmatched, yet whose history is riddled with secrets.
The pair set out to solve the mystery of their missing agents, starting first with a visit to a clock shop owner in Koriston, who guides them to an eccentric portrait artist named Enlora in far off village of Jethro. On their way to meet her, trying to add up the clues, they are ambushed by a swarm of vampires, hundreds strong. The duo’s magical claymores enable them to best the beasts, only to escape to the artist’s mansion where she seduces Caprius as Calista prowls about and discovers Enlora is a vampire. Now able to piece together the puzzle, they journey to Hotel Quantum Heights for their largest siege on the humans yet.
