TL;DR: Amazing but also sad. Read, unless you don't like sad books. (No spoilers.)

This book is amazing. It's heartbreaking (yes, I did cry in parts) but not in-your-face sad. It's definitely much more sombre that the usual tone of Warriors, but it's a must-read, no matter what.

However, if you dislike sad books, this probably isn't for you.

The plot feels well-written and not at all rushed, the characters feel so realistic you can feel their pain, the humour is in exactly rhe right places, the tone is perfect.

All in all making it (in my opinion) the best Warriors book in the series.

It was great to see Crookedstars past and when I read Bluestars prophecy, I wondered what did Crookedjaw feel about her? Amazing, just the manga at the end didn't work on the kindle - very disappointing because the writing was too small and I couldn't zoom in but really, a great book other than that.

This may just be my favourite Warriors book I've read so far.It made me cry, It made me laugh and it made me mad ( At Rainflower)
This story follows Stormkit, all the way up to when hes Crookedstar ,leader of Riverclan . Also it was interesting to find out how Mudfur became a medicine cat. It's so emotional that near the end it made me start crying. I really recommend.
