Don't read this expecting to learn how to trick other people into doing things for you! The lessons you will learn are much more human than trickery.
You will learn how to see things from the other person point of view, understand what other people praise the most - in Carnegie's own words, 'the wish to be great'. And more important, you will understand that being good in human relationship will not only grant your professional success but also an improve your overall quality of life.
Although most examples given throughout the book are from the former century, they are very actual and pretty applicable in present/future time, and this give us another important lesson - no matter the time nor place, people still think and act the same. Just try to use the letter examples in your daily e-mail writing, also thus using the conversation examples while texting other people and you'll see some nice results. I tell for personal experience - my private and professional life was crumbling and now I can look at myself and the people around me with way more confidence.
