This book has a lot of content. It has so much more than the synopsis says. It comes with a huge map of the continent of Khorvaire, and behind it, the WHOLE WORLD of Eberron. It has updates on all of the common races in the PHB and some other books, and has (now officialized) Changelings, Kalashtar, Shifters and the Warforged. It also has the new Artificer class (the reason I bought this book). A lot of unique items (some very interesting symbiotic ones), Campaign guides, terrain guides, and many new ideas on how to set up a Campaign in the world (mainly Khorvaire). And to top it off, it has the group patron, which adds a new interesting mechanic to the game, but, the best thing I found, was the draconic marks. Damn are they freaking nice. I was making a Warlock to play on my new campaign, and these add so much more possibilities (and they aren't limited by class, race or W/E). Basically, new subclasses for daaaays. And I've seen this all by being with the book in less than 2 hours. There's much more I haven't seen, of that I am certain of. I really recommend this book, if you've still not understood my message.
