I found the writing in this book to be well-above average, although I'm partial to the life of travel. There is something about the weary hub of an airport that is simultaneously depressing and intoxicating. There are so many contradictions there it's hard to make sense of what's happening. You've got the sense of luxury with first class passengers and expensive planes, and then there's the hint of squalor as travelers go a dozen hours without adequate rest or time to groom themselves. There is the propriety of a formal, militarized zone, and the hint of lawlessness as people make random connections and engage in quick romances that undercut the lives they've worked so hard to build.
This is the setting for Roxy Jewell's fabulous book about a dreamy stewardess. We follow Lena as she travels to exotic locations. Is she running from something? It used to be that you could leave your troubles behind with travel, but now the world has gotten smaller...then again, maybe it has always been that way. This is a nice, reflective novel especially for people who find themselves drawn to airports!
The magnificent world of the sky come tumbling down with sizzling passions and sensuality in Roxy Jewels latest contemporary romance. Lena Everett’s character is well-define, her traits, emotions and conflicts can easily be identified in most women today and I do believe this is one of the reasons they gravitate towards this book.
When the life of flying around the world in glitz and glam turns too much for one woman, she begins to harbor self-doubts about the love of her life she left behind at home.
Is Jason faithfully waiting for Lena or is he living a double life, one that could tear her heart to shreds? This is one of the best contemporary romance novel’s this book club has seen this month. Roxy Jewel stuns us with all the finesse of a great romance author.

Roxy Jewell tells all. Everything about the exciting life of stewardi -- the love, the lust, the glamour, the excitement, is packed into this romance. The full title tells us what we need to know: To The Sky: A Stewardess - A Contemporary Love Story: Travel Romance - A Travel Fiction Story - Adventure Romance (Flight Attendant Book 1) [Kindle Edition].
Welcome to the high-flying world of flight attendants, Book 1 in a forthcoming series.
I just finished "To the Sky" by Roxy Jewell. She is becoming one of my favorite authors. It is quite entertaining and found the main character, Lena, to be a woman with heavy choices to make. I couldn’t wait to find out which road she chose. As a flight attendant she flies around the world. It felt as though I was travelling as well, from the clear descriptions of the different destinations. This is a must read that has it all: suspense, love, romance. I highly recommend!
A great romantic novel that is about more than love. Women fall in love with many things - not just someone to spend their lives with - and that's really what this novel is about. I loved reading about Lena and her travels, her experiences, and her mishaps. I enjoyed everything about her and would love to read even more!
A nice romance novella about a high flying beauty that is the perfect length for a domestic flight. Mills and Boon could hardly have done it better. A nice novella, an easy read, and priced to suit the spontaneous buyer. Go for it.
This is a unique, contemporary, romance story, with plenty of travel adventure, about two sexy stewardesses bouncing from city to city and finding romance at various stops. It’s well-written and the characters are believable.
