What a great way to start the year. I have spent the last few days (Christmas _ New Year) gently dipping into and reading Level Up Your Day. I am a typical scanner/skimmer reader yet found myself reading (and taking notes) Level Up, page by page, section by section, but like the Pomodorra technique. My immediate task is to apply the guidelines to work out my energy levels/peak energy times to do my most important tasks (do weekly energy level activity), sign up for one of the meal planner services suggested to help me prepare and plan regular meals and look at ways to have more FUN in my life (which comes from being more organised and focused with my time😊/energy) I like the way Level Up is conversational in style and easily organised to cover the essential core areas of life. I like it and happily recommend the book if you are looking for not only practical tips to manage your time/energy but more importantly understanding the psychology of why we do (or don't do) what we do. Thank you.
Better than the standard books on Time Managment. I have followed the suggestions and it has greatly improved my work/life balance. I have a plan for my bucket list and regained control over the multitude of tasks I needed to undertake for work. It is a bit like eating an elephant, all I need to do is keep doing it one bite at a time. I liked the fact that I do not have to do all the things the book suggests and allows me to review what I am doing so that I can improve. It is well worth buying.
This book was very helpful to me. I loved the idea of using the best part of your day to do the most important things. I am now typing my novel regularly in the morning instead of fitting it in at any old time and therefore not doing it! Thankyou!
I really enjoyed this book which is written in Steve's usual easy to read style. I am using some of the ideas about daily routines to ensure the basics don't get missed but also that they don't take over and prevent me getting to the important stuff.
Briefly flicked through this to get a feel and love how easy it is to read, everything's laid out for you, it doesn't flit between subjects, it stays on one idea until you've properly grasped it, can't wait to get stuck in to it!
I enjoyed this book. There are lots of ideas to try out which I think I could do easily. I liked that it was written by two writers, it will make me reflect on my routines. At the end there are example routines which I found very useful.
